Getting back to GUIDING LIGHT, reaction among soap fans at two boards I visited was overwhelmingly negative. There were positive comments at the CBS official board, but that may have been censored. Reaction among comics and superheroine fans appears to be mixed. But I was impressed enough to turn out a short sequel, “Electricity,” for The Bright Empire. Last I checked, the episode itself was still available on InnerTube.

Grahame, we updated the website on the 31st October, (5 days ago) with the third chapter of Starwoman. We have another update coming tomorrow.

P.S.: That clip must be the trailer mentioned at the CBS site but which I wasn’t able to play on InnerTube. The guy inspiring Harley Davidson Cooper to fight evil is her is her father, Buzz Cooper. Her husband is Gus Aitoro, and the doctor is Rick Bauer, father of her youngest son Jude. I don’t know where they got the Carnage twins, those escaped prisoners in orange jump suits, but they’re a scream. I’ve seen the tie-in comic book insert — can’t say I was impressed.

CBS has it on a web program called InnerTube, but it apparently takes a lot more capacity than I’ve got to view it.

I saw and taped the episode yesterday, but what turned out to be a loose connection made snow on my screen the second half. As I’ve posted elsewhere, my wife and thought it was fresh, witty and sexy. Beth Ehlers is HOT! But most soap fans on soap message boards just HATED the episode.
