As some of you who are in regular contact with me, I am lucky enough to work with some great people, without whom I don’t think I would find my little hobby project as rewarding.

One of those friends has asked me to let you all know about a great new website that he has made featuring one of his passions - gorgeous girls working out 80s-style in spandex and lycra!

I personally think its a great website and definitely worth a visit. He’s got some absolutely stunning models that he’s worked with on there, and a few that you may recognise that I’ve recommended!

Hey guys,

Not only is this weeks update early, but we’ve got a double update too. Because I’m visiting relatives with my family I’m not sure whether I’m going to be able to get to a computer and so I wanted to make sure that the updates for both the 24th December and 31st December were 100% live.

So, for the 24th December we have a stunning Superwoman who happened to drop by Superheroine HQ! Man, this superwoman is absolutely stunning, and I’m sure you’ll agree?

Then for the 31st December we have a brand new two-part comic book featuring Superior Girl in that great little crop top. But instead of seeing Superior Girl out fighting evil we see her at her ‘other job’ dealing with familiar low-life.

Guys, I really hope you all have a great Christmas holidays and I’ve got to tell you that I’m very much looking forward to launching the new SuperSexyHeroines.com website in the new year.

Hi all,

First of all I was really interested in the post about superheroine peril that we opened on this blog. Was interesting to hear people’s views, their comments on the idea of superheroine peril and how relevant it is in a normal family-friendly comic book like the one’s I publish.

The comments then drifted slightly to what people were in to, the transformations, the use of super strength, and the amount of ’strain’ the superheroine may face when up against another person or superhero.

So yesterday I published the third and final chapter to A Dark Defeat featuring Super Chick. I won’t tell you what happens in the final chapter, but put it this way - sometimes good doesn’t always win, and if it does, it sometimes appears in a mysterious manner.

No, nothing to do with the Steele family, but of a similar style to AstroGirl that I posted last week.

I’m not overly keen on the peril stuff, but this clip seems to combine the peril stuff but with some great action sequences at the beginning with the girl (in a little blue Supergirl-type costume) being hit in the stomach by a thug and not even moving. She then throws him onto a pile of other thugs that she just dealt with.

If anyone has seen the entire film, or has links to any other parts of the film, let me know!

Interestingly on the post about Astro Girl here, a few guys were talking about superheroine peril - y’know the sort of thing: superheroine gets beaten, humiliated, tickled, stripped naked and then sometimes all sorts of bad things.

The topic arose because in the film Astro Girl the trailer makes out that the story starts off quite positively for Astro Girl and she’s sexy, strong, and all the things you’d associate with a superheroine.

Then things take a turn for the worse as she’s hit by some what looks to be kryptonite-laced arrows. Then the bad stuff begins, but it then makes out Astro Girl fights back, beats up the bad guys and then everything then returns to normal.

Now, personally that isn’t my cup of tea. However I KNOW that there’s a lot of people out there into stories moving in that direction. Don’t get me wrong - I sometimes like my superheroines to be arrogant, to beat the men in the story, etc. Sometimes its the other way around and in some stories the girls are sometimes up against it, and sometimes not.

I try and keep the SuperSexyHeroines.com website down to family-rated fun though, and although I get hundreds of requests for comic books, video clips and photos of the girls in all sorts of bother I refrain because the SuperSexyHeroines.com website is not the medium for that. There are lots of other websites out there, all making a LOT of money, for that sort of thing.

So, that’s my stance. I’m personally not into it, but I understand the wants and wishes of others.

The point of this post was to see other peoples reactions because I’ve never really seem a debate about this. I’m not saying we debate about whether its wrong or right: there is no definitive answer for that.

What I would like to hear is other peoples thoughts, and what THEY like about the superheroines genre, what they like about the girls, do you like the girls coming out on top, is it the strength, is it the fact that such a powerful female could be overcome, etc?

Just had another sniff around and found the company that is making the production and also a few more details about the actress, how to purchase the movie, etc.

There’s been a bit of a buzz in the superheroine fan world the past few days with the posting of what I believe looks like a great small-budget production.

Seems to have a little bit for everyone:

1. Supergirl costume
2. Pretty girl
3. Overhead lift of a man
4. A super strong punch
5. She flies
6. Invulnerability
7. And then all the peril stuff that some people are in to

As some of you pointed out to me this week, there was a problem with the homepage in that it was not showing the latest comic chapter from Super Chick.

Pretty much everyone found the update within the members area on Monday so no problems there, and I’m glad to say that we got the homepage back up and running again.
