Hey,
I just wanted to see whether you guys had any thoughts on how to make some pretty realistic props.
We have superheroines bending metal bars, lifting heavy objects, bending guns and knives in half, etc. But I’m always on the look out on how to do it better.
Metal bar bending
I was watching Greatest American Heroine at h and I really liked the way that the metal bar they used looks real when she twisted it round that guy:

I’ve also seen on the Powerbeauties site a girl bends a real bar:

Oh, and on Astro Girl:

Bar bells
Then I started looking at realistic looking really heavy dumbells, and again Powerbeauties looked good:

I also like the dumbbells at Powerbeauties: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qxdseG0uYKs
Other effects
I guess there are loads of special effects that are possible. Gun bending, bending the tip of a knife, crushing objects, etc, etc. Would really love to hear what would interest you guys, and how you think it could be done.

This girl is my one of my current favourites for ANYTHING superheroine.
If I were over in the US I’d be definitely trying to see if she’d feature on the SuperSexyHeroines.com website as Superwoman/etc.

Interestingly on the post about Astro Girl here, a few guys were talking about superheroine peril - y’know the sort of thing: superheroine gets beaten, humiliated, tickled, stripped naked and then sometimes all sorts of bad things.
The topic arose because in the film Astro Girl the trailer makes out that the story starts off quite positively for Astro Girl and she’s sexy, strong, and all the things you’d associate with a superheroine.
Then things take a turn for the worse as she’s hit by some what looks to be kryptonite-laced arrows. Then the bad stuff begins, but it then makes out Astro Girl fights back, beats up the bad guys and then everything then returns to normal.
Now, personally that isn’t my cup of tea. However I KNOW that there’s a lot of people out there into stories moving in that direction. Don’t get me wrong - I sometimes like my superheroines to be arrogant, to beat the men in the story, etc. Sometimes its the other way around and in some stories the girls are sometimes up against it, and sometimes not.
I try and keep the SuperSexyHeroines.com website down to family-rated fun though, and although I get hundreds of requests for comic books, video clips and photos of the girls in all sorts of bother I refrain because the SuperSexyHeroines.com website is not the medium for that. There are lots of other websites out there, all making a LOT of money, for that sort of thing.
So, that’s my stance. I’m personally not into it, but I understand the wants and wishes of others.
The point of this post was to see other peoples reactions because I’ve never really seem a debate about this. I’m not saying we debate about whether its wrong or right: there is no definitive answer for that.
What I would like to hear is other peoples thoughts, and what THEY like about the superheroines genre, what they like about the girls, do you like the girls coming out on top, is it the strength, is it the fact that such a powerful female could be overcome, etc?

I heard about this new fan-film called Wonderous Woman today and checked out the search engines to see if I could find any more pictures or even the film itself.
The actress playing the lead role is really hot, and that white costume and boots are great!
Anyhow, there isn’t much out there but I did manage to find the DVD cover.
And then…. I found what seems to be an exert from the actual film, streamed over the web. Check out this link!
The link to the film is below, and you’ll need Apple Quicktime plugin installed.
I gotta tell you that this heroine is beautiful and the costume is great. However, no real action sequences to talk of and no super strength or superpowers.
If any one else finds the film online, or a place where to purchase the DVD count me in - Would love to see some super strength, and maybe some heat vision, super breath, or just really kicking some ass, but it doesn’t look to be that sort of film - may just have to simply admire the heroine and the outfit!
Oh, and you can checkout more details on the film here:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1002699/
Enjoy!
There’s been a bit of activity I think since the beginning of filming on the Bionic Woman. Having looked around the web the last couple of days there’s some pretty good stuff I’ve found I’d like to share:
This clip includes the scene when the Bionic Woman finds out she is bionic with the unveiling of her new metallic legs, and as one of the guys tries to either restrain or comfort her she smashes him into the wall with amazing ferocity!
Have a look: http://video.accesshollywood.com/player/?id=103017
Oh, and here are some images of the new Bionic Woman promotional stuff, plus some action shots:

Found these images of a supergirl on a website called Naughty Sandy

Think you can find more (and the naughty topless ones) at
NaughtySandy.com - must be 18 though!
So, it’s been announced that one of my country-women has been selected to play the amazing Jaime Sommers, aka the Bionic Woman.
An interesting choice. I guess for all you non-British out there you may be able to look at her with a fresh perspective. For us Brits though she’ll always be the sour-faced Zoe Slater in our popular soap opera Eastenders.
But I’ll remain open-minded. I mean, whilst not having the fresh faced look of Lindsay Wagner (although she was also a little bit older), she’s defintely pretty sexy and she’ll make a mean Bionic Woman.
I just wonder if she’ll have to put on an American accent for the film or whether she’ll continue with her native British accent. I’m also told that piecing her together cost $50m as opposed to the $6m of the previous Bionic Woman - you’d have thought that the technology would’ve gotten cheaper!
Anyhow, an interesting choice but probably a good choice. Here’s a picture of the sexy little minx - will be interesting to see her bend bars, take out a roomful of men, and jump buildings. (sigh)!
Oh, if you’re looking for some information about the original Bionic Woman (which I may have to update now) you can see her profile and images at: http://www.supersexyheroines.com/superheroines/bionicwoman.php
Finally, you can see more talk of the new Bionic Woman over at:

Now for a gratuitous image of the lovely Michelle Ryan:

Hey all - saw this over the weekend and really liked it. Some guy has put together a bunch of superheroine clips into one, and my best part is the end featuring the gorgeous Pamela David as Wonder Woman.
Hey guys,
I’ve got a bunch of emails from you guys asking whether I can extend the closing date because you’re putting together some ideas. Thats no problem. If I’m being honest there aren’t as many ideas as I was expecting. Thanks to all those that have contributed so far and good news for you: your designs stand a lot better chance of being created into real costumes on our live action models!!
Thanks and any problems just whack me an email.
Jon
Hey all, I got sent these images of Paulina Rubio and thought they were too good to just sit on my computer, so here they are.
I reckon this hot latin model has a thing about dressing up as superheroines because as you’ll see on a previous post here: http://www.supersexyheroines.com/blog/?p=78 she dressed up as a gold-clad superheroine kicking some ass in a music video.
Fantastic!

Hey all,
I came across a great short film today featuring an amazing superwoman who really does kick some ass!

Its all about some orb, and when this foxy lady gains the orbs powers she displays her super speed and her strength via a pretty impressive throat lift and a punch that literally knocks the guy off his feet.
As I say, the film is called Pandora, it is a FREE film and is made by these guys:
http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t=46501
You can download the film from the following location:
Download film: http://www.eefilm.com/test/pandora-final.wmv
I completely understand the time, effort, money and talent that goes into making even a small production like this (my friend is a film maker), so it’s even more amazing when these guys release the film for free AND you then get a sense of what it must be like to release an epic like The Awakening from the Steeles.
Hey,
Was just browsing the internet the other day and came across Sandy the Supergirl - WARNING: Sandy is the model on one of those solo-girl sites, and the supergirl outfit is just one of her many uniforms.
But I thought it was quite good and interesting to see one of these models wearing the Supergirl costume - could superheroine costumes be entering the mainstream of male fantasy?!
Anyhow, in this set you can see Sandy changing from her long coat into her Supergirl outfit, and we then get to see some sexy heroic poses - presumably you’d see more if you signed up for the actual website…. I think that’s how it works!
Enjoy!
To view the whole set you can visit the Sandy gallery

All - Not sure if anyone saw the Guiding Light episode featuring a new superheroine, but I’ve been rooting around the web and found a few items that could be interesting. Still waiting for one of our friends in America who saw the episode to upload something to YouTube (or other places) but in the meantime I thought I’d whet you appetite with some links and some images.
Love the image of this superheroine stopping a car - hopefully there was some action behind it.

I also had a quick look on YouTube, and alas no video clip with real action to be found. However, I did find this clip of the woman being electrocuted:
Finally, I found these links:
You know of any other images or video clips, or links to more information? Let us know!!

Hey all,
I came across the website promoting the Wonder Woman Day on the 29th October 2006:
http://www.wonderwomanmuseum.com/WWDay_web/WWDay.html
Not only is it a day in aid of charity, but in addition it features some amazing images of the fantastic superheroine herself. A lot of people associate Lynda Carter as the face of Wonder Woman, but I just love all the alternative illustrations, especially the harder and more mean looking Wonder Woman.
My favourites would have to be:
Check it out, if you’re feeling like you want to buy one of these great artworks then your cash will be going to a good cause!

Hey all,
Just to let all those that don’t yet know that SuperWomenMania.com have for some time uploaded some of our superheroine photos on their forum, and you can view those photos over at http://www.superwomenmania.com/imagebank/room3.html. SuperWomenMania.com is perhaps the best superheroine forum on the web, so if you’ve never seen it before have a look, and if you haven’t been there for a while still go and have a look to check out all the new items about the Superheroine genre.
Anyone else has any good superheroine resources, let me know and we’ll add it to our links section.
Thanks guys!
Jon
