Electra Woman and Dyna Girl History

The female caped crusaders Electra Woman and Dyna Girl are beautiful superheroes who take on a variety of twisted villains and criminals to fight against every episode. Using devices created by a genius scientist named Professor Frank Heflin, reporters Lori Hall and her teen sidekick, Judy become the superpowered crime fighting duo Electra Woman and Dyna Girl (EW and DG). They wear skintight outfits with capes, and operate out of the secret ElectraBase, which is headed by the Professor while keeping in contact through their "ElectraComs".

EW and DG are like female version of "Batman and Robin", although the superheroines were not millionaires, they were a pair of reporters and their version of Alfred was Professor Heflin, who invented the functional wrist-based devices they wore, known as “ElectraComs”. He also designed and built all the heroines' sophisticated equipments including the ElectraCar.

Each episode introduces some new inventions and the bad guys always hide in abandoned theaters. Dyna Girl constantly uses "Electra" as a prefix, like "Electra-wow!" or "Electra-sneaky!” which makes the trademark of the show.

    Alter Ego

Lori Hall, a career woman and with her assistant Judy, are both newspaper reporters for the world famous Newsmaker Magazine who coincidentally also happen to be the super heroines Electra Woman and Dyna Girl. With “Electra-change”, the two reporters can transform themselves from everyday reporters to the subtly sexy crime fighting duo.

    Abilities and Gadgets Used

EW and DG have electrical powers; however, these come from their costume, which contains hidden gadgets created by Professor Heflin. Their "Electra-Coms" are powered by "Electra-Force" beamed to them by the Professor's "Crime-Scope", and if they move out of its range, they lose all their powers. The Professor has also designed a number of "Electra" vehicles, including an Electra-Car, Plane, etc. In addition, Dyna Girl is also a skilled acrobat.
